Head Coach: Sean Sung

After having competed in both amateur and professional leagues, Sean knew his passion for boxing couldn't stop. He became a coach for the past 13+ years where he has trained athletes of all levels including a number of professional boxers and MMA fighters. His goal is to share his love of boxing with individuals of all ages and athletic backgrounds, whether it is your first time with the gloves or trying to sharpen up some techniques. Also offering private sessions for personal training or one-on-one boxing and pad work.


Boxing Coach: Mikhail (Michael) Basharymov

Our boxing techniques coach Mikhail has the knowledge and experience as the head of Khabarovsk Boxing Federation in Russia, as well as having competed for 17+ years all over the world. He has won numerous championships in Russia - Khabarovsky Kray, Russian Far East, and multiple awards at the Russian Boxing Championships. Also having competed with top placings all over the world such as in China (Guangzhou), Czech Republic, Australia, and South Korea from 1993-1997, his stats sit at an impressive 242 wins out of 258 fights. Personal Trainer: Steve Say

Our BCRPA certified Personal Trainer Steve will take your fitness to the next level. He obtained his diploma in Human Kinetics back in 2010 where he found his passion for human movement and exercise, and its impact on health and physical performance. With an emphasis on strength and conditioning, he enjoys seeing clients of all fitness levels to help improve their physical abilities.

Personal Trainer: Christopher Curtis

After studying Kinesiology under fitness and athletic professionals at Langara College, Chris obtained his Personal training certificate from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Chris has a passion for developing correct and effective movements to assist in daily living, and in athletic excellence. Join his Strength & Conditioning class on Saturdays at 10:00am.

Nutrition Coach: Cindy Kim

With the background of sports nutrition as an ACE certified Personal Trainer, she furthered her studies at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition Vancouver where she become a Certified Nutritional Practitioner. She soon learned the importance in the unique needs of each individual person, continuing her studies at the Institute of Natural Health Technologies and becoming a Registered Bioenergetics Practitioner . Her approach is to assess each individual to their own, utilizing muscle testing (applied kinesiology) to identify their needs and tailoring guidance to each individual.

Yoga Instructor: Kazuko Nozaki

Our certified yoga instructor Kaz will help you reconnect with your body and aid recovery for peak performance. Rebalance your mind-body connection through various yoga poses. She has completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training in Thailand in 2015 and has had various experience teaching yoga in Japan and Canada. Help your body recover optimally and improve flexibility by taking our Stretch & Restore classes on Tuesdays at 8:00pm.
